How to make a toffee?

English Toffee is one of my most favorite desserts of all time or should I say it is my ultimate comfort food. I find pleasure when this particular sweet food touches my tongue. It tickles me. The taste gives joy to my individuality. Definitely it is my food for the soul. Maybe the creamy butter leaves a distinct element into my taste buds every time I take a bite on it. It leaves a mark to remember it. From a rigid, stressful and tough day, for just one bite everything will be forgotten.

Since this is the food that I am very fond of so I decided to search what are the ingredients bring together to come up with this delicious taste. The ingredients are composed of chopped and toasted almonds, dark chocolates, butter (so delicious), sugar, water, and light corn syrup. The butter is cut into little squares like matchbox. They are mix together with sugar, corn syrup, and water in medium heated pan. Stir until it melts. The sugar crystals should be watch over from forming and the sides of the pan should be brush regularly wait until it will form to a candy. The candy is heated continuously and stirs frequently. The candy should not be separated. You will notice once it is on its ideal temperature the color will be dark golden amber. Transfer the toffee onto the baking sheet. Once everything is poured spread the toffee. After two minutes score the toffee into squares like matchbox or it depends on your desired size. Please wait until the toffee is cool down. Once the toffee is cool down break it into pieces. If you prefer to have classic toffee then it is ready for serving. If you want to submerge it into chocolate then dip it in to the chocolates. You can also sprinkle some nuts and almonds. Afterwards you can put these toffees into the fridge for 20 to 30 minutes and then it is ready for serving. You can have 3 different flavors of toffees on a single making that you can definitely choose from.
